Our commitment
ArcTax wants everyone to be able to use this service. We are designing the web application to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at level AA.
How we test
Public pages are checked with automated WCAG 2.2 A and AA tests in Chromium. Before production release, we also test keyboard-only navigation, visible focus, screen-reader announcements, zoom and reflow, form errors, colour contrast, and mobile layouts.
Current status
ArcTax is still undergoing production-access assurance. Any accessibility defects found during automated or manual testing are treated as release blockers.
Report an accessibility problem
If you cannot access part of this service, email accessibility@arctax.co.uk. Include the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology or browser you used. We aim to acknowledge reports within 2 working days.
Enforcement
The Equality and Human Rights Commission advises on the Equality Act 2010. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service.
